Our work

Sites we built, and still keep online

AITS maintains more than twenty active websites. These are the ones we can point you at directly, alongside case studies from ongoing support engagements.

Case studies

Engagements in more detail

These clients have not been named. Outcomes are described qualitatively rather than with performance figures, because we publish measurements only where we actually took them.

Multiple sectors

Hosting and maintenance for a portfolio of business websites

The challenge

Sites spread across inconsistent hosting arrangements, with no routine patching, no reliable backup position, and no single point of accountability when something broke. Problems typically surfaced when a client noticed their site was down.

What we did

Consolidated hosting onto managed cloud VPS infrastructure with cPanel administration. Established a regular update and backup routine, configured SSL and DNS consistently across the portfolio, and set up performance monitoring so degradation is noticed before a client reports it.

Outcomes

  • Consistent patching and backup routine applied across the whole portfolio.
  • A single accountable point of contact for hosting and site issues.
  • SSL and DNS configured uniformly rather than site by site.
  • Performance degradation detected through monitoring rather than through client complaints.
  • Managed VPS
  • cPanel
  • WordPress
  • SSL/TLS
  • DNS
  • Uptime monitoring

Telecommunications

Microsoft 365 estate management for a telecommunications business

The challenge

Email infrastructure central to daily operations, with recurring delivery failures, inconsistent spam filtering, and no backup position for mailbox data. Staff had received no guidance on the collaboration tools they were licensed for.

What we did

Took over administration of Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Teams. Applied security configuration against phishing, malware, and unauthorised access; deployed backup and recovery for Microsoft 365 data; rationalised licence allocation against actual usage; and ran training sessions so staff could use the collaboration tools they already had.

Outcomes

  • Email delivery issues diagnosed and resolved rather than worked around.
  • Backup and recovery in place for mailbox and collaboration data.
  • Licence allocation matched to actual usage rather than accumulated by default.
  • Staff trained on the collaboration tools already available to them.
  • Microsoft 365
  • Exchange Online
  • SharePoint Online
  • Microsoft Teams
  • Backup and recovery

A first conversation costs nothing and usually clarifies more than a proposal would. If we are not the right fit, we will say so.
