About
A technology partner accountable to the outcome
AITS was founded in Accra in January 2025 to bring AI, cybersecurity, and software engineering to organisations across Ghana and West Africa.
Our story
Why AITS exists
Appiah Information Technology Systems was established in Accra in January 2025, formalising work its director had been delivering for close to a decade — websites, hosting, IT support, and security advice for Ghanaian businesses that needed technology handled properly rather than handled cheaply.
The firm is deliberately small and senior. When you engage AITS, the person assessing your problem is the person who has done the work before, not a coordinator relaying messages to a delivery team you never meet.
What has changed since 2016 is the scope. AI moved from curiosity to operational reality faster than most organisations could form a position on it, and a substantial part of our work is now helping teams adopt it deliberately — with the governance and data-handling questions answered before the tools are already in use.
Vision
To be West Africa's most trusted partner for AI adoption and digital transformation — trusted because of what we decline as much as what we deliver.
Mission
To give organisations across Ghana and West Africa practical access to AI, cybersecurity, and software engineering capability — built for local conditions and supported after launch.
Values
How we work
Say the honest thing
Including when the honest thing is that you do not need the project, or that an existing product would serve you better than a build.
Build what can be maintained
Systems your team can operate and another supplier could pick up. Delivered with documentation and handover, not lock-in.
Security is not a phase
Access, data handling, and recovery are considered from the first conversation rather than reviewed before launch.
Built for here
Ghanaian connectivity, Ghanaian devices, Ghanaian payment methods, and Ghanaian regulation — not assumptions imported from elsewhere.

Let us talk about what you are trying to change
A first conversation costs nothing and usually clarifies more than a proposal would. If we are not the right fit, we will say so.
